Privacy notice
This notice explains how Novick Kotkis Limited ("we", "us") uses the personal information you give us. We are the data controller. Novick Kotkis Limited is registered in England and Wales, company no. 11966409, and our registered office is 20 Lawrence Avenue, London NW7 4NN. If you have any questions, email us at nk@novickkotkis.com.
What we collect
When you fill in our contact form or email us, we collect your name, email address, phone number and anything you tell us about your project. If you become a client, we also hold the details needed to run your project, such as your property address, your design choices, and invoicing and payment records.
How we use it
We use your information to reply to your enquiry, to provide our design services, to order products and coordinate contractors and suppliers for your project, and to keep the business and tax records we're required to keep. We rely on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, on carrying out our contract with you, and on our legal obligations. We don't use your details for marketing unless you've asked us to, and we never sell them.
Who we share it with
We only share what's needed. That means suppliers and contractors working on your project, our accountants, and the services that run our website and email. Our website is hosted by Squarespace, which may store data outside the UK. Where that happens, it's protected by the safeguards UK law requires.
How long we keep it
If an enquiry doesn't go any further, we delete your details within 12 months. For clients, we keep project and financial records for six years after the project ends, as tax law requires.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies that are needed for it to work, and some that help us understand how visitors use the site. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it or stop using it. You can also object to how we use it. Email nk@novickkotkis.com and we'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
